Convention coming soon.....
The Ossing Development and Cultural Association (ODCA) North America continues to demonstrate its commitment to the growth and development of the Ossing Oburutu Kingdom. Through collective effort, dedication, and a shared vision, ODCA North America has embarked on a series of life-changing initiatives that address the most pressing needs of the indigents and the wider population of Ossing.
In a relatively short time, ODCA North America has established itself as a driving force for sustainable community development. Our focus has been on projects that directly uplift health, culture, and the living conditions of our people. These projects reflect not only the unity of the Ossing diaspora but also our collective responsibility to give back to the land that shaped us.
The Badi Water Project
Access to clean and safe drinking water remains a cornerstone of health and dignity in any community. The Badi Water Supply Project has been the epitome of collective action to ascertain a sustainable water system in Ossing for decades. The system has been managed and maintained financially and technically by Dr. Steve Bate and his team for several years. This illustrious Ossing engineer , a bona fide member of ODCA DMV in ODCA North America, has committed his expertise to this project. Dr. Steve's relentless efforts have kept the Badi Water Supply flowing in Ossing despite the challenges of an old system. His work has been commendable. This achievement stands as evidence of unity and vision.
Despite significant progress, ODCA North America recognizes that several critical projects are still in progress and require collective commitment for completion:
The Ossing Hall Project – A cultural and communal space designed to serve as the heartbeat of Ossing gatherings, celebrations, and decision-making. The hall remains under construction and will symbolize unity and identity once completed. The Ossing Community Center is the brainchild of our late Chief, Prof. Edward Ako, and the individual contributions from Ossing sons and daughters around the world. Completion of this project marks our collective commitment to making the vision a reality for Ossing.
The Hospital Infrastructure Upgrade Project – This initiative focuses on enhancing healthcare delivery in Ossing through the renovation of hospital facilities, provision of clean water, and sustainable electricity. While groundwork has been laid, additional resources are required to bring this vision to full reality.
Borehole Projects – Several borehole initiatives are underway to expand clean water access across Ossing villages. These projects are vital for improving health outcomes, but more support is needed to see them through to completion.
The Project is more than a list of initiatives—it is a movement for change, dignity, and hope. Each completed project tells a story of what our unity can achieve, while the uncompleted projects remind us of the urgent work still ahead. ODCA North America calls on all sons, daughters, friends, and partners of Ossing to join hands, contribute, and ensure that these life-changing projects are completed for the benefit of generations to come.
